Hello, my name is Leon Newman. I have been in Construction trades for over 35 years. My wife Margie, and I, moved here from Washington last year, to expand our Dahlia farm, Barnstar Blooms. I had my own Handyman Business, also called Leons Toolbox, for over 10 years in Alaska where I am originally from. I did property management, maintained rentals, remodels, and built homes from the ground up. In Washington I worked for a property management company, was a installer for closet systems, then got into commercial construction. I was lead carpenter for a large construction company when we decided to move to Tennessee. I have my Journeyman’s card, OSHA 10, and graduated from the Construction Industry Training Council of Washington. I worked for a Handyman company out of Chattanooga for the first few months after we moved to Tennessee, then installed fireplaces for a business out of Crossville to be closer to home. Now with the growing season coming on full swing I need more time to work on the farm, we have decided to bring back Leons Toolbox to the Bledsoe, Cumberland, and Rhea County areas. We love the area and look forward to helping you with your household projects projects.
